Product Description

Hot-rolled steel shrinks when cooling, creating looser tolerances and less precision than cold-rolled steel. Hot-rolled steel is a good option for structural components or sheet metal, but when aesthetics, durability, tolerances, concentricity and straightness are required, cold-rolled steel is the better choice. Cold-rolled steel is almost twenty percent stronger than hot-rolled and produces stronger perforated products with a smoother finish, making it a natural choice for strength and precision shaping.
